Diebold Nixdorf is set to upgrade the entire ATM network of VyStar Credit Union, a Florida-headquartered credit union with more than $8.6bn in assets.
The programme will encompass 66 branches and the replacement of more than 250 ATMs. All the ATMs will be upgraded with Vynamic Connection Points software to offer more services to the members.
VyStar senior vice-president for operations and payments Melissa Thomas said: “Our ATM network is a vital delivery channel for our members.
“These software and hardware upgrades will keep us at the forefront of self-service trends and position us to continue expanding our service offerings in the years ahead.”
Once complete, the VyStar touchpoints will offer mobile device integration and improved transaction capabilities.
The upgrade will also facilitate management and maintenance of the ATMs in the future. Additionally, it will also help VyStar Credit Union to improve its branding and personalisation at the ATMs.
VyStar COO Chad Meadows said: “Diebold Nixdorf has been a trusted, strategic partner of VyStar for more than 40 years and provides us with the latest technology backed by unmatched strategic counsel and industry expertise.
“We’re proud to work with them to deliver an expanding suite of financial services and products that help our members take charge of their financial future.”
The VyStar ATM upgrades are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Last month, Diebold Nixdorf introduced a digitally-connected line of ATM solutions to improve self-service operations. Recently, the company also expanded its partnership with First Horizon National to bring further improvements to the latter’s ATM network.
