US-based lender Dollar Bank has decided to upgrade its digital banking and payment capabilities with Fiserv financial technology solutions in a bid to improve customer experience.
Under the collaboration, Dollar Bank will deploy Fiserv’s Architect solution as well as introduce various payment services such as integrated bill payment, person-to-person (P2P) payment, and money transfer capabilities.
The Architect solution, selected after assessing three different providers, is said to fulfill the bank’s requirements and future growth strategy.
It is also compatible with the Dollar Bank’s core processing platform.
Dollar Bank executive vice-president and chief operating officer Joseph Toth said: “With our customers’ expectations advancing quickly, we’re in a race to stay current.
“The ability to deliver a customized digital experience was an important consideration for us. We currently have a proprietary digital banking platform, and with Fiserv technology we will continue to have that flexibility and ability to differentiate. Our goal is to be as close to state of the art as possible.”
Under a single platform, Architect is capable to offer retail and business banking services. It is expected to enable the Dollar Bank customers to access digital banking across any devices.
The electronic payment solutions that will be added to the banking are CheckFree RXP for electronic bill payment, Turnkey Service for Zelle for P2P payments and TransferNow to enable swift account transfers.
With more than 1,300 employees, Dollar Bank has more than 70 branches and offices across the US states of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia.
