Red Canoe Credit Union and Endurance Federal Credit Union have selected Symitar’s Episys platform to streamline services.
Symitar, a division of Jack Henry & Associates, designed Episys as a data processing system for credit unions. Both the credit unions opted for an outsourced solution with Symitar to manage their core system.
With Episys, Red Canoe aims to customise its core and connect with third-party solutions to achieve further growth. It selected the platform as its offered consistent approach to design, enhancing user interaction and experience across multiple functions.
Red Canoe chief information officer Jeff Haverlack said: “Through Episys’ open infrastructure, we will be able to leverage our third-party relationships to provide more expertise and value within our channels.
“We needed a tech partner to surpass our efforts, not just blaze the trail, and Symitar will offer us the tools to expand into new markets with confidence.”
Endurance FCU will use the solution to integrate all its systems and streamline various banking processes.
Additionally, the technology will enable the company to gain deeper insights about member requirements through integration with third parties.
Jack Henry & Associates vice-president and Symitar president Ted Bilke said: “Episys provides credit unions of any size the flexible, dependable technology they require to meet modern membership demands and remain competitive.
“Both credit unions are strategically growing their member base and value Symitar’s commitment to support that objective through openness and innovation.”
Symitar specialises in delivering integrated computer systems for credit unions. To date, it has partnered with more than 800 credit unions.
