Wells Fargo is updating its mobile banking app, in a bid to allow its business consumers to use banking services on all mobile devices.
The app, which was originally launched in 2007, has now been improvised and features a browser-based, mobile-optimised CEO mobile site that was built in-house in HTML5 with 89 redesigned and recoded web apps, according to American Banker.
The touch-optimised site can automatically adjust to the display constraints of any device for better viewing. The revamped site enables business banking services to run smoothly on all types of mobile devices, the bank said.
The highly secured site with separate authentication for every session does not allow customers to start a transaction on one device and continue it on other.
However, the site allows different users of a company to perform various operations within the process in separate sessions.
According to the bank, the site can be customised depending upon the number of accounts, as some clients have less number of accounts, while others have 300.
The new site will run on a pilot programme until the end of 2013 and will be officially launched in 2014.
