Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Coastal Cloud, a Salesforce consulting firm in the US, for $700m in cash.
The acquisition will provide TCS with full ownership of Coastal Cloud.

Coastal Cloud, established in 2012, focuses on providing Salesforce consulting services for enterprise-scale transformations across a variety of sectors.
The company delivers advisory and business consulting for areas such as sales, service, marketing, revenue, CPQ, commerce, and salesforce data cloud.
Coastal Cloud’s team includes more than 400 professionals with over 3,000 multi-cloud certifications.
Eric Berridge leads Coastal Cloud as its CEO. The company is a Salesforce Summit Partner and participates in the Salesforce Partner Advisory Board.

TCS said that the acquisition of Coastal Cloud strengthens its global Salesforce advisory and business consulting capabilities and increases access to the mid-market customer segment.
In October 2025, TCS acquired ListEngage, another Salesforce Summit Partner known for its expertise in Agentforce, Marketing and Commerce Cloud.
With both ListEngage and Coastal Cloud joining TCS, the firm reported that it will be among the world’s top five Salesforce advisory and consulting companies.
The company noted that it will continue to pursue acquisitions consistent with its strategic areas of focus, including AI, cloud, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and enterprise solutions.

The completion of the acquisition is subject to regulatory reviews and other standard closing requirements.
