CHEVAL BLANC

ChevalBlanc Terrasse 1

Style / Ambiance: In the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois, Basel’s grandest hotel, you’ll find the multi award winning fine dining experience, Cheval Blanc.

This restaurant sits proudly at the top table of the world’s greatest restaurants, holding two Michelin Stars and 18 Gault Millau points. Chef de Cuisine Peter Knogl was crowned in October 2010 “Chef of the Year 2011” by the Gault Millau Swiss restaurant guide and since 2007 has taken diners on an epicurean journey through the realm of senses. Chef Knogl’s menu is based on the best in season market fresh ingredients, which are then transformed into astonishing creations from the world of Mediterranean haute cuisine. The riverside dining room sets new standards in terms of décor and service. Maitre d’hôtel Grégory Rohmer and Sommelier Christoph Kokemoor orchestrate an impeccable service in a elegant dining room featuring swag curtains and shimmering diamond chandeliers. The exclusive and extensive wine list features extremely rare names, as well wines from Château Cheval Blanc, after which the restaurant is named. During the fine summer months the wonderful Summer Terrace offers diners the opportunity to gaze out over the Rhine whilst enjoying award-winning food.
