The new series features Freeman travelling the world to explore conflict in society as well as what binds us together. He’ll be visiting all kinds of societies and interviewing people who’ve done and do extraordinary things. Speaking about the series, Freeman said:

Over the course of the series, Freeman will sit down and interview such figures as former US president Bill Clinton, president Evo Morales of Bolivia, Joshua Coombes the founder of the #DoSomethingForNothing movement, Albert Woodfox who was imprisoned in solitary confinement for 43 years for a crime there is no evidence he committed, and many others.

The series will receive its world premiere at the Paley Centre on 28 September 2017. With that in mind, we can probably expect read the first reviews soon.
However, Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment production team, who also made The Story Of God, were also behind this project. Consequently, we should probably go in with high hopes.
For those who can’t make it to the premiere, The Story Of Us will air on Wednesday 11 October, on National Geographic channel right around the world.
