Paubox has introduced Inbound Email Security, an AI-driven solution designed to enhance email protection for healthcare organisations.

According to a company statement, the new offering leverages generative AI (GenAI) to enhance traditional rule-based email filters, providing stronger protection.

Paubox’s Inbound Email Security is designed to tackle the persistent threat of phishing, the leading cause of email security breaches in healthcare organisations. Additionally, it aims to bridge the gap between training and real-world readiness, as currently only 62% of healthcare staff can effectively identify phishing attempts.

To address these challenges, the solution employs GenAI to assess tone, sender behaviour, message intent, and historical patterns, identifying threats before they reach user inboxes.

This system uses large language models and vector databases for a comprehensive analysis of emails. It offers transparent insights through confidence scores and detailed explanations for emails flagged as spam.

Paubox’s Inbound Email Security can be integrated with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Workspace. It is also compatible with existing Paubox features.

The solution is available immediately as part of the Paubox Email Suite Plus and Premium tiers, with existing customers receiving automatic upgrades and new customers able to adopt the solution immediately.
