A recently granted patent (Publication Number: US11953110B2) discloses a valve device designed with a casing that includes a valve chamber, a valve seat with a valve hole, a float that moves based on the drain level in the chamber to open and close the valve hole, and a support structure that holds the float in place on the valve seat. The support structure consists of a base with a frame-shaped through bore in the valve chamber and two float seats where the float rests when closing the valve hole.

The valve device's casing is constructed with a divided structure comprising a first part and a second part, with the valve seat located in the second part. The base, which supports the float, is positioned in a cantilever manner within the second part. Additionally, the first part features an opening for sideways access to the valve chamber, while the second part is attached to the first part to seal off this opening. The overall casing includes a ceiling wall, a bottom wall, and a peripheral wall that define the valve chamber, with the first part containing the ceiling wall, bottom wall, and a section of the peripheral wall, while the second part includes the remaining portion of the peripheral wall. The base is situated opposite the bottom wall, creating a gap between the two components.
