Lagos has a strong financial services sector and attracts substantial amounts of foreign investmen, providing the headquarters for many Fortune 500 companies.
Lagos is widely known to be a magnet for foreigners looking to establish business in Nigeria and its business centres and luxury hotels. Meanwhile Victoria Island is home to a number of the Nigerian tycoons.
The city does however have relatively high housing and business occupancy costs.
