Databricks has announced the release of Data Intelligence for Cybersecurity, a new platform aimed at helping organisations identify and respond to advanced cyber threats.
The launch targets increasing risks posed by sophisticated and AI-driven attacks, providing security teams with the ability to consolidate and analyse data from disparate systems.
Access deeper industry intelligence
Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
According to Databricks, the product integrates directly into existing security stacks, enabling enterprises to standardise workflows and use AI to accelerate detection and resolution of incidents.
The company says that the widespread adoption of AI by malicious actors has heightened the complexity of cyberattacks. Many organisations remain hampered by fragmented data architectures and generic AI models, resulting in slower responses and reduced visibility across their environments.
Databricks claims its approach addresses these challenges by providing a unified data foundation through its Lakehouse architecture. This enables security teams to access a comprehensive view of the attack surface without relying on traditional security information and event management (SIEM) systems or facing vendor lock-in.
Databricks Security and Field CISO vice president Omar Khawaja said: “With Data Intelligence for Cybersecurity, Databricks is making data and AI every organisation’s strongest defence strategy.

By GlobalData“Security teams can now gain a more accurate, governed and flexible approach to building AI agents that proactively combat today’s modern and AI-based threats.”
A core component of the new platform is Agent Bricks, which allows enterprises to deploy production-grade AI agents tailored to security operations. These agents can automate analysis, generate insights, and execute governed actions throughout the response lifecycle.
Databricks said that Agent Bricks is designed for rapid development and deployment, supporting both custom applications and integration with partners’ tools.
To broaden its capabilities, Databricks has integrated its offering with a range of third-party cybersecurity providers, including Accenture Federal, Abnormal AI, Arctic Wolf, BigID, Deloitte, Entrada, Obsidian Security, and others. These integrations aim to facilitate unified outcomes across different customer environments.
The Data Intelligence for Cybersecurity platform provides both technical users and business leaders with real-time analytics and conversational querying features. Dashboards and natural language search interfaces are intended to deliver up-to-date visibility into threat activity and emerging risks across the organisation.
Databricks positions this functionality as suitable for stakeholders beyond security teams who require immediate access to relevant intelligence.
In September 2025, Databricks revealed a multi-year partnership with OpenAI. This collaboration will allow all Databricks customers to access OpenAI models natively within both the Data Intelligence Platform and Agent Bricks product.
Under the agreement, OpenAI’s GPT-5 model will be available as a flagship option for enterprise solutions built on Databricks infrastructure.
