Accenture and OpenAI have established a partnership to integrate agentic AI systems into the core operations of enterprise clients.

Under this agreement, Accenture will deploy ChatGPT Enterprise to tens of thousands of its staff, applying it across consulting, operations, and delivery work.

The company will also assist OpenAI with scaling its AI capabilities for the enterprise market.

The collaboration includes the launch of a flagship AI programme that combines OpenAI enterprise products with Accenture’s domain expertise across industries and functions.

This programme grants Accenture access to OpenAI’s implementation methodologies, security frameworks, deployment strategies, and real-world use cases. The focus is on embedding these tools in client workflows to streamline adoption.

This initiative targets a range of sectors including financial services, healthcare, public sector, and retail.

It is designed to help organisations move from legacy processes to AI-powered workflows using advanced agentic capabilities, new products, and model advances.

Joint solutions will cover core business areas such as customer service, supply chain, finance, and human resources.

Accenture plans to leverage OpenAI AgentKit to enable clients to quickly develop, test, and deploy custom AI agents for workflow automation and decision support.

ChatGPT Enterprise will be used internally to advance staff training on frontier models and support both internal projects and external client delivery.

Accenture is also expanding its commitment to OpenAI Certifications to increase the number of employees upskilled in OpenAI technologies.

Both companies are collaborating closely on designing and operating globally scaled front- and back-office functions powered by OpenAI technology.

This approach aims to shift traditional operational models towards intelligence-driven systems at scale.

Separately, OpenAI has taken an ownership stake in Thrive Holdings, a company launched by venture capital firm Thrive Capital in April 2025.

Thrive Holdings acquires and operates businesses in sectors such as accounting and IT services.
