US-based threat intelligence company SOCRadar has introduced a new API suite designed to allow managed security service providers (MSSPs) more flexibility in how they access and deliver cyber threat intelligence.

The dual-layered system gives partners the ability to either white-label SOCRadar’s threat intelligence platform or integrate threat data into their own proprietary offerings.

The new suite offers two main options. The Multi-Tenant API is an automated engine that enables partners to manage provisioning, licensing, tenant creation, and configuration processes at scale without manual intervention.

This replaces the previous need for MSSPs and technology vendors to handle these tasks one by one, which created challenges in scaling as client numbers increased.

The Advanced API provides direct access to raw threat intelligence data, supporting partners who wish to build custom features or products based on SOCRadar’s underlying intelligence.

Previously, organisations faced limitations in embedding threat intelligence into their own platforms, often having to choose between using pre-built, restrictive outputs and undertaking manual platform management.

By combining platform automation with direct data access, SOCRadar aims to remove this trade-off.

SOCRadar co-founder and CEO Huzeyfe Onal said: “Our new dual-layer, two-way API suite provides two distinct threat intelligence engagement models to either build it themselves or take it ready-made.

“For those who want a finished, white-label product, we provide an automated engine that provisions, licenses, and manages tenants at scale.

“For those who want to build, we open direct access to the raw intelligence that powers SOCRadar. Either way, our partners stop adapting to us and we start adapting to them, which is the way it should be.”

According to the company, this dual approach is aimed at supporting MSSPs, technology vendors, and large enterprises wishing to incorporate threat intelligence flexibly, without integrating multiple third-party systems or committing to a single provider model.

SOCRadar is making the new API suite available to its network of partners globally.
