The rollout is expected to include additional locations over time. Initial facilities are scheduled to go online in 2026.
Anthropic’s leadership said that the investment supports the objectives outlined in the Trump administration’s AI Action Plan, aimed at consolidating the country’s position in AI and technology infrastructure.
This expansion comes as Anthropic reported increased usage of its Claude AI models, currently deployed by over 300,000 business clients.
The company noted a nearly sevenfold growth in high-value enterprise accounts within the past year, defined as customers whose annualised spend exceeds $100,000.

By GlobalDataAnthropic CEO and co-founder Dario Amodei said: “We’re getting closer to AI that can accelerate scientific discovery and help solve complex problems in ways that weren’t possible before.
“Realising that potential requires infrastructure that can support continued development at the frontier.”
Anthropic said that it selected Fluidstack as its infrastructure partner due to its capability to deploy large-scale power resources efficiently.
The company indicated that this level of capital investment is necessary to keep pace with scaling demand for Claude, while supporting further research at the frontier of AI safety and interpretability.
Fluidstack co-founder and CEO Gary Wu said: “We’re proud to partner with frontier AI leaders like Anthropic to accelerate and deploy the infrastructure necessary to realise their vision.”
Anthropic also noted that it would continue to focus on approaches that balance cost and capital efficiency as it expands.
The company attributes its current momentum to its technical workforce, focus on safety protocols, and ongoing work in advanced AI alignment.
In Ocdtober 2025, Anthropic finalised an agreement to significantly expand its use of Google Cloud’s tensor processing units (TPUs), ensuring access to substantial computing resources for training and deploying future Claude models.
The deal includes more than one gigawatt (1GW) of capacity coming online in 2026 and access to up to one million TPU chips, along with additional Google Cloud services.
