3. Seoul, South Korea
Much like Singapore, Seoul’s business appeal is largely down to its world class internet connectivity — with 95 percent of Korean households online and almost everywhere connected by super-fast wifi or mobile data.
The city recently began a $35bn smart city initiative in the Songdo International Business District creating a blueprint for other cities around the world.
Meanwhile Seoul has an extensive and well-kept system of roads, and the subway system that serves the metropolitan area is one of the most used globally.
The city – which has the second largest GDP of any city in Asia – also has a closely managed office market to ensure rents don’t swing wildly as in some other Asian cities.
