Notably, edtech was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q3 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of autonomous vehicles and digital banking, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the technology industry, Sony Group had the greatest increase in references for edtech in Q3 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 17 edtech-related sentences in the company's filings - 0.4% of all sentences - and an increase of 21% in Q3 2023 compared with Q3 2022. Delta Electronics’s mentions of edtech dropped by 38% to 13 and Chunghwa Telecom’s by 100% to 12 and Taiwan Mobile’s by 8% to 11 and HCL Technologies’s by 125% to 9.
