Management Occupations drive technology industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 18% of the total new job postings in Q1 2024 and were down by 7% year-on-year. Second highest were Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which accounted for 18% and drop by 19% year-on-year, and third highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which were 4% of the new job postings and 21% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in technology industry accounted for 24% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Jacobs Solutions with 1,269, followed by BT Group with 858, while the highest increase was at Vodafone Group at 14%.
