Out of the total IT job titles posted by International Business Machines, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 79.72% in June 2022, and a 25.05% drop over May 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 11.59% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 36.05%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 4.86% in June 2022, a 4.29% drop from May 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at International Business Machines
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global technology IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 62.08% share, which marked a 44.67% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 29.74%, registering a 166.02% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 4.43% share and a 23.43% drop over May 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.19% and a month-on-month decline of 50.56%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.56%, registering a 14.81% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s technology industry IT hiring activity with a 54.65% share in June 2022, a 48.54% decline over May 2022. US featured next with a 27.18% share, up 296.82% over the previous month. China recorded a 3.29% share, an increase of 70% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead International Business Machines IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 53.36%, down by 15.36% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 42.79% share, a decline of 36.61% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.82% share, down 33.05% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.02%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
