Nscale has entered into an expanded agreement with Microsoft to deploy around 200,000 Nvidia GB300 graphics processing units (GPUs) of hyperscale Nvidia AI infrastructure deployments in Europe and the US.
The multi-year agreement is intended to deliver Nvidia-based AI infrastructure services to Microsoft. It also aims to address EU-specific data sovereignty requirements for regional customers.

This agreement follows the September 2025 announcement by Nscale and Microsoft regarding the establishment of the UK’s largest Nvidia AI supercomputer at Nscale’s Loughton AI Campus.
Dell Technologies is working with Nscale and Microsoft on this project.
Under the contract, Nscale will provide nearly 104,000 Nvidia GB300 units to a 240MW hyperscale AI campus in Texas, where phased delivery of AI infrastructure services will begin for Microsoft in the third quarter of 2026.
The Texas facility, leased from Ionic Digital, is planned to scale up to 1.2GW, with Microsoft retaining an option to activate a 700MW second phase from late 2027.

By GlobalDataIn Portugal, Nscale will deploy about 12,600 Nvidia GB300 GPUs at the Start Campus data centre in Sines starting from the first quarter of 2026.
The 50MW facility, which can be expanded to 90MW, is set to accommodate around 23,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs starting in Q1 2027 to support Microsoft Azure services.
Microsoft business development and ventures president Jon Tinter said: “Our agreement, announced today, demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that our products are available globally with sustainability and scalability in mind.
“Nscale is an ideal partner for this mission, given its deep expertise in providing AI infrastructure services at scale.”
Nscale has recently disclosed a multi-year deal between the Aker-Nscale joint venture (JV) and Microsoft, which will deliver around 52,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs from a hyperscale facility in Narvik, Norway.
The company operates as a vertically integrated AI cloud provider with global data centre infrastructure, GPU clusters, orchestration, and AI services.

Recently, Microsoft launched ExCyTIn-Bench open-source benchmarking tool designed to evaluate the performance of AI systems in cybersecurity investigations.
