North America held a 38.76% share of the global technology industry cross border M&A deal value that totalled $19.22bn in May 2021. With a 36.21% share and deals worth $6.96bn, the US was the top country in North America’s cross border M&A deal value across technology industry.

In terms of cross border M&A deal activity, North America recorded 56 deals during May 2021, marking a decrease of 8.20% over the previous month and a rise of 24.44% over the 12-month average. The US recorded 48 deals during the month.
