A total of 43 deals worth $3.11bn were announced in November 2020, compared to the 12-month average of 52 deals.
M&A was the leading category in the month in terms of volume with 27 deals which accounted for 62.8% of all deals.
In second place was venture financing with ten deals, followed by private equity with six transactions, respectively accounting for 23.3% and 14% of overall deal activity in the country’s technology industry during the month.

The combined value of the top five technology deals stood at $2.98bn, against the overall value of $3.11bn recorded for the month.

1) Nasdaq’s $2.75bn acquisition of Verafin
2) The $105m acquisition of A Thinking Ape Entertainment by Embracer Lager Group1
3) Enad Global 7’s $72.71m acquisition of Piranha Games
4) The $27.08m private equity deal with F12.Net by Clairvest Equity Partners VI and Clairvest Group
5) WELL Health Technologies’ acquisition of Insig for $23.27m.
