US-based company Dell Technologies’s IT hiring an increased 5.7% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 3.3% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 37.05% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 1.22% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Dell Technologies IT hiring in June 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Dell Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 77.68% in June 2021, and a 22% growth over May 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 10.81% in June 2021, and registered a 5.32% an increase. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 4.49% in June 2021, a 47.44% rise from May 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Dell Technologies

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global technology IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 40.73% share, which marked a 21.11% growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 31.41%, registering a 1.9% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with an 18.42% share and a 71.01% growth over May 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 5.89% and a month-on-month an increase of 36.04%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 3.55%, registering a 3.41% rise over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s technology industry IT hiring activity with a 31.37% share in June 2021, a 35.81% growth over May 2021. the US featured next with a 29.03% share, up 1.36% over the previous month.Bulgaria recorded a 6.09% share, an increase of 60.82% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Dell Technologies IT hiring activity in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 50.37%, down by 2.42% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 43.5% share, a growth of 61.83% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.58% share, up 32.41% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.55%, recording a month-on-month an increase of 100%.
