US-based company Dell Technologies’s IT hiring increased 6.3% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.39% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 37.33% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.72% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Dell Technologies IT hiring in July 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Dell Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 73.35% in July 2021, and an 8.44% drop over June 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 12.57% in July 2021, and registered a 13.26% increase. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 4.73% in July 2021, a 50.63% rise from June 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Dell Technologies

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global technology IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 40.45% share, which marked a 3.69% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 33.37%, registering a 3.58% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 16.35% share and a 13.29% drop over June 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 6.6% and a month-on-month increase of 9.93%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 3.22%, registering a 16.49% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s technology industry IT hiring activity with a 30.91% share in July 2021, a 3.88% growth over June 2021. India featured next with a 29.44% share, down 9.31% over the previous month. Bulgaria recorded a 7.24% share, an increase of 16.67% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Dell Technologies IT hiring activity in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 50.16%, down by 3.22% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 42.44% share, a decline of 5.32% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.88% share, up 20.14% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.52%, recording a month-on-month decline of 7.14%.
