The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 1.57% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the technology industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 22.05% share in July 2021, recording decrease of 0.8% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.61% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France technology industry in July 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 75.73% in July 2021, a 14.66% drop over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 9.06% share, decline of 17.02% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.71%, registering a 31.19% decline from June 2021.

Top five technology companies in France IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 16.8% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France technology industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Capgemini posted 319 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a drop of 9.12% over the previous month, followed by Atos with 72 jobs and a 71.43% growth. Ubisoft Entertainment with 63 IT jobs and International Business Machines with 55 jobs, recorded an 8.7% drop and a 61.27% decline, respectively, while Orange recorded a 36.36% decline with 21 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.1%, down by 7.13% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.65% share, a decline of 39.2% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.9% share, down 33.98% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.35%, recording a month-on-month increase of 50%.
