The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 3% in May 2021 compared with April 2021.
Out of the technology industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 18.6% share in May 2021, recording an increase of 0.1% over the last three-month average share.

Top five technology companies in France IT recruitment activity in May 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 19.58% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France technology industry during May 2021 over April 2021.
Capgemini posted 161 IT jobs in May 2021 and registered a drop of 27.8% over the previous month, followed by International Business Machines with 85 jobs and a 45.86% drop. Ubisoft Entertainment with 61 IT jobs and Atos with 59 jobs, recorded a 49.17% drop and an 180.95% increase, respectively, while CGI Group recorded a flat growth with 53 job postings during May 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.67%, down by 13.02% from April 2021. Mid Level positions with a 15.93% share, a decline of 11.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.52% share, up 4.05% over April 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.88%, recording a month-on-month an increase of 60%.
