It will be business as usual this week, as some of the most luxurious and expensive boats in existence roll into the Port Hercules for the Monaco Yacht Show 2017.

As Europe’s biggest in-water yacht trade show, the industry’s leading companies will be on hand to show off their boats and products.

A total of 580 exhibitors have confirmed that they will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2017. In total, 185 yachts are set to dock in the principality. Combined, the total value of the vessels on display equates to €2.5bn.

45 of those will be new launches, while 125 fit into the superyacht category, providing an insight into yachting’s latest and luxury.

Australian yacht makers SILVERYACHTS are likely to steal the show. Their SILVER FAST vessel is the most expensive yacht on display, with a price tag of €77m.

When is the Monaco Yacht Show 2017?

The Monaco Yacht Show is taking place this week.

The four day event will open to the public on Wednesday September 27 and run until Saturday September 30.

Port Hercule will open its doors to guests each day at 10:30am CEST and shut at 6:30pm CEST, giving visitors plenty of time to get around impressive exhibition.

Monaco Yacht Show 2017 schedule

The event will officially begin today (September 26) with the Monaco Yacht Summit.

Held at the Le Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel, this intimate event will see industry leaders take to the stage to give talks.

Access is reserved for individuals and companies that are in the process of purchasing superyachts. This is held as a way to make the process easier to understand and complete.

The same evening, the MYS Inaugural Gala Party will be staged. Exhibitors will be joined by the press for the MYS Award Ceremony, which will see four superyachts handed awards for performance and design.

The following morning, Port Hercule will open up for the next four days.

There is no set schedule for the open days. Shows and events will be taking place throughout the day, so it’s best to turn up early if you want to catch everything.

Are Monaco Yacht Show 2017 tickets still available?

Tickets are still available to purchase. However, you will need to be quick if you want to avoid paying a higher price.

One day tickets can currently be purchased through the Monaco Yacht Show website for €160. However, online sale ends tomorrow. Those that wish to purchase tickets during the event will have to pay €175 on the door.

Alternatively, four day tickets are available for €590 (rising to €650). However, you will have to be a professional currently working in the industry to enjoy the discounted price.
