Sana Learn offers an AI-native learning platform that combines management, content creation, and personalised tutoring. It is designed to facilitate accelerated learning across various industries.

The acquisition will complement Workday Learning by providing hyper-personalised skill-building capabilities at scale. This integration will support employee reskilling initiatives through enhanced AI-driven internal mobility, said Workday.

Workday product and technology president Gerrit Kazmaier said: “Sana’s team, AI-native approach, and beautiful design perfectly align with our vision to reimagine the future of work.

“This will make Workday the new front door for work, delivering a proactive, personalised, and intelligent experience that unlocks unmatched AI capabilities for the workplace.”

Subject to meeting customary conditions, the deal is anticipated to close in Workday’s fourth quarter of financial year 2026, which ends on 31 January 2026.

In addition to the acquisition news, Workday has announced a collaboration with Microsoft to improve the management of AI agents across platforms.

This partnership will allow customers using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio to register and manage their AI agents within the Workday Agent System of Record, ensuring secure and effective operations.
