Clay, a US-based company developing AI tools for business growth, has secured $115m in Series D funding round, bringing its valuation to $7.1bn.

The fundraising was led by Wellington, with additional participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Sequoia, Perennial, StepStone, Meritech, CapitalG, DST, Boldstart, BoxGroup, Bloomberg Beta, and Evolution.

Clay offers technology designed to help businesses identify potential customers, monitor market signals, and personalise outreach. It integrates data from sources including customer relationship management systems, product usage, campaign metrics, calls and emails.

Its platform also incorporates external data such as funding events and hiring activity, in order to map a company’s addressable market dynamically.

The company reports serving more than 17,000 customers, including what it describes as 80% of the Forbes AI 50 list, as well as organisations such as Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Stripe, Workday, and Siemens.

Clay co-founder and CEO Kareem Amin said: “AI is unleashing the biggest wave of company creation in history, and Clay’s goal is to be the engine those companies use to grow to their full potential. We started by aggregating the best data for B2B companies.

“Then we built the infrastructure to run any personalised campaign on top of it. Now we’re building agents that can help grow your company for you. We’re building a self-learning revenue engine. The better a company gets at learning, the faster it grows.”

In addition to the funding, Clay has set up a $1m scholarship scheme aimed at training future “go-to-market” engineers and professionals who focus on building business revenue systems.

Amin said: “We believe the next wave of companies will be built by teams that think about growth in a systematic way. We want to make this career accessible to more people. If we do it right, we’ll be powering the next wave of the world’s economic growth.”

In August 2025, Clay raised $100m in a Series C funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $3.1bn.
