Nippon Telegraph and Telephone’s IT hiring activity increases 8.2% in July 2021

Japan-based company Nippon Telegraph and Telephone’s IT hiring increased 8.2% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 13.12% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 34.4% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 2.38% down over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nippon Telegraph and Telephone IT hiring in July 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.87% in July 2021, and a 0.97% growth over June 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 19.36% in July 2021, and registered a 22.96% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.75% in July 2021, a 5.76% rise from June 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone

North America emerged as the leading region in the global technology IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 44.76% share, which marked a 6.51% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 40.52%, registering a 1.45% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 12.53% share and a 14.86% drop over June 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.92% and a month-on-month increase of 3.57%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.27%, registering a 100% rise over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s technology industry IT hiring activity with a 39.59% share in July 2021, a 1.49% decline over June 2021. the US featured next with a 35.61% share, down 2.72% over the previous month.Canada recorded a 5.84% share, an increase of 6.02% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Nippon Telegraph and Telephone IT hiring activity in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.43%, down by 11.17% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 27.19% share, a growth of 7.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.12% share, down 6.17% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.26%, recording a month-on-month increase of 72.73%.
