The value marked an increase of 23.02% over the previous month of $2.78bn and a rise of 113.8% when compared with the last 12-month average of $1.6bn.

Europe held a 27.12% share of the global technology industry cross border venture financing deal value that totalled $12.61bn in June 2021. With a 10.86% share and deals worth $1.37bn, Germany was the top country in Europe’s cross border venture financing deal value across technology industry.

In terms of cross border venture financing deal activity, Europe recorded 124 deals during June 2021, marking a decrease of 5.34% over the previous month and a rise of 40.91% over the 12-month average. The UK recorded 35 deals during the month.
