The value marked a decrease of 48.4% over the previous month of $5.76bn and a drop of 50% when compared with the last 12-month average of $5.94bn.

North America held a 36.80% share of the global technology industry cross border venture financing deal value that totalled $8.07bn in April 2022. With a 34.57% share and deals worth $2.79bn, the US was the top country in North America’s cross border venture financing deal value across technology industry.

In terms of cross border venture financing deal activity, North America recorded 125 deals during April 2022, marking a decrease of 36.55% over the previous month and a drop of 20.89% over the 12-month average. The US recorded 103 deals during the month.
