Sweden-based company Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson’s IT hiring rose 12.9% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 9.98% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 43.65% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.44% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson IT hiring in August 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65.32% in August 2021, and a 21.97% rise over July 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 28.97% in August 2021, and registered growth of 47.32%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 2.9% in August 2021, a 32% rise from July 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global technology IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 44.86% share, which marked a 27.75% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 37.4%, registering a 19.33% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 12.29% share and a 37.25% rise over July 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.51% and a month-on-month increase of 263.64%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.93%, registering a 22.22% rise over the previous month.
China commanded a leading presence in the region’s technology industry IT hiring activity with a 16.77% share in August 2021, a 20.13% growth over July 2021. India featured next with an 11.15% share, up 16.51% over the previous month. Sweden recorded a 10.27% share, an increase of 69.57% compared with July 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson IT hiring activity in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.06%, up by 33.67% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.05% share, a growth of 14.21% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.89% share, up 22.77% over July 2021.
