The industry’s overall hiring increased by 10.12% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Top five technology companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 11.54% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s technology industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Accenture posted 76 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 11.76% over the previous month, followed by Wipro with 65 jobs and a 41.3% growth. Dell Technologies with 45 IT jobs and Cognizant Technology Solutions with 44 jobs, recorded a 164.71% flat growth and a 40.54% decrease, respectively, while Datacom Group recorded an increase of 6.9% with 31 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.75%, up by 21.88% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.97% share, registered an increase of 57.22% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.56% share, up 18.31% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.71%, recording a month-on-month decline of 22.22%.
