US tariffs are pushing India towards China

If the US wants partners on the international stage, it must ask whether it is willing to forego coercive trade tactics that alienate them. If not, non-alignment with the US may become de facto resistance, and the world may increasingly operate around blocs that exclude or hedge against US policy volatility.
