The legal package and a companion offering, Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services, are the first in a planned series of industry solutions built on the Gemini Enterprise platform.

Each bundle is intended to provide out-of-the-box capabilities that may include tailored agents, specialised skills, data connectors and model optimisations for a particular sector.

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said: “With agentic AI, legal professionals have the ability to research across historical case law, build complex arguments, and automate mundane tasks that can provide enormous value to their clients.

“However, ensuring every aspect of these agentic workflows is accurate, factual, and grounded in legal authority is of critical importance.

“Gemini Enterprise for Legal helps manage the complex realities of modern legal work, while simultaneously providing critical grounding and governance capabilities that allow teams to confidently focus on strategic counsel.”

According to Google Cloud, the legal version supports workflows such as contract review, regulatory monitoring, diligence, and privacy requests.

Its skills cover contract lifecycle management, citation verification, legal brief drafting, data subject access request (DSAR) fulfilment, regulatory horizon scanning, motion-to-seal preparation and the drafting of non-disclosure agreements.

Connections to legal systems use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and include Docusign, Courtroom5, Free Law Project’s CourtListener.com database, Everlaw, iManage, Harvey, Solve Intelligence, Legora, RelativityOne, NetDocuments, and Thomson Reuters.

Consulting and integration partners include Deloitte, Accenture, Eudia, Devoteam, KPMG, Factor Law, Valtech, Tribe AI, Zencore, Zazmic, and 66degrees.

Google Cloud said client data, prompts and outputs remain within an organisation’s private cloud perimeter, base models are not trained on customer data, and existing permissions and ethical walls are inherited through the connectors.

Research outputs are grounded in primary legal authority rather than model training data alone, Google Cloud said.

Separately, Morningstar and its subsidiary PitchBook said they will supply MCP integrations for Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services as launch partners for its preview.

The integrations, expected imminently, would let eligible subscribers draw on Morningstar public market data and PitchBook private capital intelligence as source-attributed grounding within AI workflows.

In July, Google Cloud partnered with Accenture Edge, a business division of Accenture, to launch a set of agentic AI solutions for mid-market companies undertaking technology transformation.
